I would give a finger to have seen this live.

Take a bow
I love that when Ben stands again, the hood is on his head.
I’m seeing awesome amounts of Frankenstein all over my dash so I thought I’d post something I made after seeing the play(x).
You can never have too much Frankenstein
I love the rehearsal process…..

“Why can I not be who I am?”
Reblogging cause today was full of frankenfeels.
A filthy mass of fucking fabulous!
My heart is black. It stinks. My mind, once filled with dreams of beauty is a furnace of revenge. Three years ago when I was born I laughed for joy at the heat of the sun. I cried at the call of the birds. The world was a cornucopia to me, now it is a waste of frost and snow.

In addition to this, another Frankenstein backstage photograph by Simon Annand who has another book coming… x
BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH, 2011, Frankenstein, National Theatre. ‘He was on the phone arranging tickets for somebody while undergoing the two-hour make-up job he had to do every night. He was starting on the film War Horse with Steven Spielberg two days later’
Benedict Cumberbatch - living proof you can sport a mohawk, make a call and aggressively eye fuck - all at the same time.
So dead right now…..
Benedict Cumberbatch [X] Old interview. Mental image is great!

I find it beautiful, the great and small differences between their performances.

I may be biased, but in each example, (and I have also seen the live versions), I prefer Ben’s interpretation.
I preferred Benedict in each role too. When asked why, I now respond
“Jonny played each role brilliantly.
Benedict WAS the roles and he was BRILLIANT.”
